2019 Annual Student Exhibit

Cleve Carney Gallery is proud to present the Annual Student Art Exhibition. Showcasing the work of The College of DuPage art students, this exhibition highlights the range of media and approaches being taught in the fine arts programs.

Award Winners
Each year the juror selected seven participating student artists to receive prizes based on their work. The awards are for Best in Show ($1000), 1st Prize in 2D & 3D ($500), 2nd Prize in 2D & 3D ($250), and 3rd Prize in 2D & 3D ($100). This year’s winners are:

The guest juror this year is Josh Dihle. Josh Dihle received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012 and his BA at Middlebury College in 2007. Recent solo exhibitions include Valerie Carberry Gallery (Chicago,IL), and Pleasant Plains (Washington D.C.). Group exhibitions include Essex Flowers (New York, NY), Unisex Salon (New York, NY), Annarumma Gallery (Naples, Italy), Shane Campbell Gallery (Chicago, IL), Elmhurst Art Museum (Elmhurst, IL), the University of Maine Museum of Art (Bangor, ME), and DUTTON (New York, NY). Dihle teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and co-directs the Chicago artist project space Julius Caesar.

The exhibition and the reception are free of charge and open to the public.
